If there is one thing I am always going to work into a trip, it is a cute coffee stop, and the coffee shops in Bentonville absolutely understood the assignment. I knew Northwest Arkansas had a fun outdoorsy, artsy thing going on, but I was not fully prepared for how much I was going to love cafe hopping here!
Bentonville is already such a fun little getaway with mountain biking, museums, walkable downtown areas, great restaurants, and so many creative local businesses. Add in a few seriously good lattes and matchas, and suddenly your morning coffee run becomes part of the itinerary.
We checked out a mix of popular Bentonville staples, unique cafe concepts, and one coffee shop that you can only reach on foot or by bike, which is exactly the kind of travel detail that makes my brain light up. These are the must-visit coffee shops in Bentonville, Arkansas!
Best Coffee Shops in Bentonville
1. Onyx Coffee Lab
You really cannot talk about Bentonville coffee shops without talking about Onyx Coffee Lab. It is one of the big names in the Northwest Arkansas coffee scene, and it has that polished, design-forward feel that makes you immediately understand why people are obsessed.
And this is not just me being dramatic. Onyx was ranked #1 on The World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops list, so it is literally globally recognized for what it does!
The downtown Bentonville location is an easy stop if you are already exploring the square, and it is great whether you want a simple espresso drink or something a little more special. Onyx is known for quality coffee, beautiful spaces, and a more elevated cafe experience.

2. Heroes Coffee
For something easy, friendly, and reliable, Heroes Coffee is another solid Bentonville cafe. It has that local coffee shop feel where you can pop in for a quick drink, meet up with someone, or grab a little fuel before a full day of exploring.
They have multiple Northwest Arkansas locations, but the Bentonville spot is super convenient if you are spending time around downtown or the 8th Street area. I loved their iced honey salted caramel latte!

3. Airship Coffee at Coler
This might be one of the coolest coffee shop locations I have ever visited. Airship Coffee is a local coffee brand with several locations around Bentonville, but we went to their spot inside Coler Mountain Bike Preserve.
The wild part? You can only get to this location on foot or by bike. All of the parking lots are roughly a mile from the cafe, so you have to walk or ride in through the preserve. It makes grabbing coffee feel like a little adventure instead of just another errand, and I loved that.
Coler Mountain Bike Preserve is already one of the best things to do in Bentonville, especially if you love being outside, so pairing it with coffee from Airship is such a fun combo. Even if you are not mountain biking, the walk is great!
Just know this is not the spot for a classic laptop-and-Wi-Fi cafe situation. It is more of a sip-your-coffee-outside, enjoy the preserve, and feel very pleased with your life choices kind of stop.

4. Two Friends Books
Book lovers, this one is for you. Two Friends Books is a bookstore cafe, and I have to be honest: I did not actually have coffee here because I was so full by the time we stopped in. But the space was so cute that I still think it belongs on your Bentonville coffee list, especially if you are into books.
It is full of books, cozy corners, and that dreamy little bookstore energy that makes you want to browse longer than planned. They serve coffee and cafe drinks, and the reviews for the coffee are great, so I would absolutely go back with more stomach space and make it a proper stop.
This is a great pick if you want something more than just a drink. Go for coffee, books, a little browsing, and a slower moment between restaurants, museums, or shopping around Bentonville.

5. Caffeine Bar
And then there was Caffeine Bar, which may have been our favorite coffee shop in Bentonville. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and everything on the specialty drink menu was dangerously tempting.
I got the brown sugar matcha with oat milk and banana pudding cold foam, and Remi got the churro cheesecake latte. Truly, both were so good. I love when a specialty drink sounds fun and actually tastes balanced instead of just sweet for the sake of being sweet.
We ordered both drinks half sweet, and I definitely recommend doing the same if you usually like flavored drinks but do not want them to taste like dessert syrup with a whisper of caffeine. Half sweet gave us all of the flavor without making the drinks feel heavy.

Which Bentonville coffee shop are you trying first?
Bentonville has such a fun coffee scene, and I love that each of these spots brings something different to the table. You have beautiful specialty coffee at Onyx, an easy local staple with Heroes, the adventure of Airship at Coler, bookstore charm at Two Friends Books, and creative drinks at Caffeine Bar.
I hope you have time to check out all of these amazing coffee shops in Bentonville. If I missed a cafe I should add to my list to visit next time, drop it in the comments!
