When it comes to travel, finding the best coffee shops on Cape Cod is serious business for me. So serious that Remi and I will sometimes hit up two to three coffee spots a day—grabbing one drink from each—just so I can make sure we’re trying as many as possible during our trip.
Not every place we visited made the list, but the ones that did are total standouts. These were the coffee shops that were both adorable and delicious—the kind of places I’d absolutely go back to and recommend adding to your Cape Cod itinerary. A lot of these are centered around the Barnstable/Hyannis area, but you’ll find a few sprinkled in other cute corners of the Cape, too!
Delicious Coffee Shops on Cape Cod
1. Nirvana Coffee Company – Barnstable Village
Nirvana Coffee Company is seriously adorable and so charming! It feels like you’re stepping into an old friend’s home. Outside, there were cozy little chairs with blankets draped over them—such a thoughtful touch, especially on cooler mornings.
Inside, it’s warm, welcoming, and has that lived-in, cozy feel that makes you want to stay a while. I kept my drink order simple with a vanilla caramel latte (which was delicious), but I’ve heard amazing things about their pistachio latte and already regret not trying it!
Do yourself a favor and get a breakfast sandwich and a lemon scone while you’re there. The sandwich was pressed on a bagel with pesto—yes, pesto!—and it was perfection. And that lemon scone? So good.
2. Lighthouse Keepers Pantry – Yarmouth Port
Lighthouse Keepers Pantry screams Cape Cod! It’s so cute I could barely handle it. I went basic with a regular latte (which was solid), but Remi was the real MVP here—he ordered their specialty latte called the Sunburn, a spicy Mexican mocha, and it was unreal. Sounds wild, but the flavors totally worked.
The drink menu is packed with fun specialty options, so definitely branch out. As for food, we grabbed their ham and cheese croissant and wow—it was flaky, flavorful, and not at all your average pastry-case find. Honestly, I’d come back here in a heartbeat.
3. Great Awakening – Hyannis
Great Awakening Coffee House is truly something special—and easily one of my favorites from our time on Cape Cod. The vibe, the flavors, the presentation… it all felt so thoughtful and elevated, but still super inviting.
I ordered the Iced Straw-B Rose Latte, which had strawberry and rose syrups, was topped with the dreamiest cold foam colored with organic beet powder, and sprinkled with rose petals and organic strawberry powder. I mean… come on. It was just as good as it sounds—maybe better!
They also have a solid lineup of breakfast options, and it was such a nice spot to just hang out and get some work done.
4. Mariner Cafe – Hyannis
This Cape Cod coffee shop popped up on my TikTok FYP, and thank goodness it did. We tried their Tiramisu Latte and it was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, but super rich and flavorful.
We also grabbed one of their strawberry croissants, and it was incredible. The filling inside was so good we almost turned around to get another. I’ll be honest, their full food menu looked amazing, but since we had a few more coffee shop stops lined up that day, we tried not to go overboard. Still, this one definitely left an impression.
5. Bread + Roses – Hyannis
Bread + Roses had such a warm, welcoming vibe—you’re literally surrounded by books, which made it feel like the kind of place you could hang out in for hours.
It’s a great spot to be productive, catch up with a friend, or just relax with a good cup of coffee. I had a caramel latte that hit the spot, and the croissants were excellent, with plenty of other pastries and food options to choose from too. It’s just a couple of doors down from Mariner Cafe!
6. Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters – Brewster, Sandwich, and Chatham
Snowy Owl has such a cool, relaxed vibe that fits Cape Cod perfectly. The space feels rustic and cozy, and you can tell they take their coffee seriously. I had a really well-balanced latte here. It’s a great place to slow down and enjoy a quality cup of coffee, whether you’re hanging out inside or soaking up the fresh air at one of their outdoor tables.
We stopped at the Sandwich location, and it’s such a peaceful stop while you’re checking off all the best things to do on Cape Cod!
7. Kohi Coffee Company – Provincetown
Kohi is right along the waterfront in Provincetown and has some of the best views to go along with your coffee. The shop itself is sleek and modern but still has that laid-back charm. We got their NOLA cold brew, which is cold brew concentrate steeped with chicory and lightly sweetened. It was such a standout—smooth, bold, and just different!
This ended up being my favorite coffee of the whole trip! It’s a great place to start your morning before wandering through all the things to do in Provincetown.
