Distilleries in Tampa Bay
1. Gasparilla Distillery and Cocktail Bar | Tampa
If you’re hanging out in Ybor City, you have to swing by Gasparilla Distillery. This spot is all about Tampa’s history and pirate vibes, and trust me, it’s a blast. They’re all about crafting amazing spirits, from their classic Gasparilla Silver Rum to the totally unique Gasparilla Banana Bread Rum.
They’ve got a cozy tasting room with those cool copper stills, and the smell of freshly made rum will make you want to stay for hours. They even do guided tours for just $12—how fun is that? If you’re in town Wednesday-Sunday, be sure to check it out!
While you’re in Ybor, check out some of the amazing restaurants in Ybor City! A Cuban sandwich always goes hand in hand with a day of drinking for me. But honestly there are plenty of fun things to do in Ybor City, be sure to make a day of it.

2. 82 West Distilling | Tampa
If you’re sipping around Seminole Heights, stop by 82 West Distilling. It’s one of those spots that’s got an awesome vibe, and they’re making some seriously good small-batch craft rums that totally capture the laid-back Florida beach lifestyle. Each bottle has its own story, and the cocktails? Pure magic.
It’s a super chill place to hang out with friends, whether it’s a casual get-together or a weekend adventure. And while you’re in the area, don’t miss out on some of the best restaurants in Seminole Heights and even more Seminole Heights activities. You’ll have the best time!

3. St. Petersburg Distillery | St. Pete
St. Petersburg Distillery is a local favorite. Family-owned since 2014, this distillery has been perfecting the craft of small-batch spirits for years. They’ve got everything from whiskey and rum to gin and vodka, all made with care and a ton of love.
Make sure to take a tour so you can see how it all comes together, and definitely check out their tasting menu while you’re there. If you’re visiting in the fall, don’t miss their seasonal pumpkin spice espresso martini made with local Hogg Batch espresso—such a fun twist you’ll want to savor!
4. Tarpon Springs Distillery | Tarpon Springs
If you’re ever in Tarpon Springs, Tarpon Springs Distillery is a must-visit for craft spirit lovers. They focus on small-batch, locally made spirits with tons of personality. From smooth whiskeys to flavorful rums, there’s something for every taste.
Be sure to swing by for a tasting flight so you can sample a little of everything. They also have some great cocktails, and they often have live music and other fun events happening! Rem and I really enjoyed playing a game of chess (on the most beautiful chess board ever might I add). The vibe is chill and welcoming, making it a perfect stop whether you’re doing a day trip or just exploring the area.

5. Cotherman Distilling Co. | Dunedin
Cotherman Distilling Co. in Dunedin is all about small-batch, handcrafted spirits made from grains, plus Palmer’s Tropical rums made from Florida molasses.
The indoor bar is cozy, and the patio is perfect for a relaxing afternoon—or a fun pit stop while cruising the Pinellas Trail (one of the best things to do in Dunedin!). They often have rotating food vendors, so you can grab a bite while you sip. I tried the sloppy joe grilled cheese and… wow, so good. Definitely one of those distilleries in Tampa Bay where you could easily spend a couple of hours tasting and just enjoying the vibe.
