21 Fun Tampa Bay Fall Festivals and Events in 2026

If you are trying to romanticize fall in Tampa Bay while it is still 87 degrees outside, I am right there with you. The good news? Tampa Bay does fall in its own very Florida way: pumpkin patches, waterfront festivals, haunted ships, Oktoberfest beers, food and wine weekends, and just enough spooky stuff to make you forget you are sweating through your cute seasonal outfit.

So get your calendar out, because there are so many Tampa Bay fall festivals and events worth adding to it this year.

There are a few annual events that have not released 2026 info yet; I marked them as 2026 details TBD, so you know exactly what still needs a quick check before you go!

Pumpkin Patches + Fall Festivals

1. Harvest Holler Corn Maze

Location: 950 Tavares Rd, Polk City, FL 33868
Hours and Dates: September 18-November 15, 2026; Fridays 4 PM-8 PM, Saturdays 12 PM-8 PM, and Sundays 1 PM-5 PM
Cost: Check current ticket pricing before you go.

Harvest Holler Corn Maze is such a cute classic fall day if you want the pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, farm animals, and country-store-snack situation all in one place. It is a bit of a drive from Tampa, but honestly that kind of makes it feel more like a little fall field trip.

After the maze, save room for Paw-Paw’s Vittles and Maw-Maw’s Country Store. Because obviously, if there is cobbler involved, we are making responsible decisions and getting the cobbler.

2. Sweetfields Farm Fall Maze

Location: 17250 Benes Roush Road, Masaryktown, FL
Hours and Dates: 2026 fall dates TBD; the farm has announced the fall event will return in October.
Cost: 2026 pricing TBD. Tickets are required.

Sweetfields Farm is one of those spots that immediately gets you into a fall mood even if Florida did not get the temperature memo. Think corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides, farm activities, apple cider, food vendors, and cute little photo ops.

This one is especially good if you want the whole wholesome farm day without overcomplicating it. Tickets are required for guests 3 and older, and they can sell out, so do not make this a “we’ll just wing it” moment.

3. Oktoberfest Tampa

Location: Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, 600 N Ashley Dr, Tampa, FL 33602
Hours and Dates: October 9-11, 2026; Friday 4 PM-11 PM, Saturday 11 AM-11 PM, and Sunday 11 AM-6 PM
Cost: General admission is typically $10 for one day or $25 for a weekend pass. Active or retired Armed Forces members and City of Tampa first responders can get free general admission with proper ID.

Oktoberfest Tampa is one of the easiest fall events to say yes to. You get the waterfront views at Curtis Hixon, Bavarian games, live music, dirndls, lederhosen, German food, and plenty of beer. Basically, Tampa looked at fall and said, “Let’s make it a party.” Naturally.

I love that it has a full weekend schedule, so you can go big on Saturday or keep it more casual on Sunday. Either way, this is a fun one for groups.

4. Gallagher’s Pumpkins and Christmas Trees

Location: 7401 4th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33704
Hours and Dates: 2026 opening date TBD; their latest posted season opened daily from 9 AM-9 PM starting September 22.
Cost: Free entry; pumpkins, food, and other items are available for purchase.

Gallagher’s is a St. Pete fall staple, and it is such an easy stop when you want pumpkins, cute photos, and a low-effort seasonal moment. It is family-owned, dog-friendly, and honestly one of the easiest pumpkin patches to pair with a coffee run or dinner in St. Pete.

They usually go all in on photo ops, so this is the one where you can pretend your fall outfit was effortless even though we both know it was a whole thing.

5. Hyde Park Village Pumpkin Patch

Location: Hyde Park Village, 1602 W Snow Ave, Tampa, FL 33606
Hours and Dates: 2026 details TBD; the patch typically runs October 1-31.
Cost: Free to enter; pumpkins and gourds are available for purchase.

The Hyde Park Village Pumpkin Patch is such a cute excuse to wander around Hyde Park, grab coffee, shop a little, and pick up a pumpkin while supporting a good cause. Proceeds traditionally benefit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, which makes the whole thing feel extra sweet.

Make a day of it while you are over there. Hyde Park has some awesome restaurants, cute shops, and plenty of fun things to do if you want a low-key Tampa afternoon.

6. HarvestMoon Fun Farms Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Location: 15990 Stur St, Masaryktown, FL 34604
Hours and Dates: 2026 fall dates TBD; recent fall seasons have run late September through early November on select weekdays and weekends.
Cost: 2026 pricing TBD; check the ticket page before you go.

HarvestMoon Fun Farm is packed with family-friendly fall activities: a corn maze, pumpkin patch, cow train, jumping pillow, petting farm, food vendors, and plenty of games. This one is a full-on “wear comfy shoes and let everyone burn off energy” kind of day.

They also usually run Haunted Nights in October with haunted attractions and a flashlight maze. You already know I am more likely to be found near the food than voluntarily entering a haunted trail, but I support your bravery from a distance.

7. Scarecrow Festival | Dade City

Location: Pioneer Florida Museum & Village, 15602 Pioneer Museum Road, Dade City, FL 33523
Hours and Dates: Saturday, October 10, 2026, 9 AM-4 PM
Cost: Adults $15, students $5, and ages 4 and under free.

Scarecrow Festival at Pioneer Florida Museum & Village is such a charming fall event if you want something that feels a little old-school. Expect scarecrow building, vendors, crafts, food, and family-friendly activities around the historic village.

This is a great one if you want a festive day that is not centered on jump scares. Just cute fall energy, a little small-town charm, and probably more scarecrows than you expected to have opinions about.

8. The Heights Fall Festival

Location: Armature Works, 1910 N Ola Ave, Tampa, FL 33602
Hours and Dates: 2026 details TBD; recent fall events have happened on October weekends.
Cost: Typically free to attend; food, drinks, and pumpkins are available for purchase.

Armature Works is one of those places where you can almost always count on a good time, and The Heights Fall Festival usually brings pumpkin patch moments, live music, food, drinks, vendors, and waterfront views together in one very easy Tampa outing.

Pair it with brunch, a walk along the Riverwalk, or a post-pumpkin cocktail. That is the kind of fall planning I can get behind.

9. Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Fest

Location: 5500 CR-675, Bradenton, FL 34211
Hours and Dates: October 10-11, 17-18, and 24-25, 2026, 9 AM-5 PM
Cost: Ages 10 and up $15, children 5-9 $5, children under 5 free, parking $5. Cash only for admission and parking.

Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival is one of the bigger fall festivals near Tampa Bay, and it is packed. We are talking craft show, live music, pumpkins, kids’ games, hayrides, pony rides, petting zoo, corn maze, train rides, food vendors, homemade ice cream, pumpkin pie, and farm-roasted sweet corn.

This is one of those events where you should bring cash, sunscreen, and your “we are here for the snacks” attitude. The corn maze and train rides are usually an extra small fee, so keep that in mind if you are bringing kids.

10. DK Farms Fall Festival

Location: DK Farms & Gardens, 1750 Lake Avenue Southeast, Largo, FL 33771
Hours and Dates: 2026 dates TBD; fall events typically run on October weekends. Current posted general fall hours list Saturdays 10 AM-7 PM and Sundays 10 AM-4 PM.
Cost: Check current ticket pricing before you go.

DK Farms in Largo is another fun fall option if you want activities on activities. Their fall season usually includes hayrides, farm animals, games, mini golf, gem mining, bounce areas, pumpkin fun, and plenty for kids to do.

They also have spookier nighttime events like SpookyVille and Fearville, so check the event type before you buy tickets. Daytime farm cute and nighttime haunted are very different vibes, and I need you emotionally prepared.

11. Riverwalk Trick or Treat

Location: Tampa Riverwalk, with activities around Cotanchobee, the Marriott, The Sail, and Tampa Convention Center
Hours and Dates: Saturday, October 24, 2026; trick-or-treating and Halloween Market 4 PM-7 PM, costume contest at 5 PM, flash mobs at 6:15 PM and 6:30 PM, and Movie in the Park at 7 PM
Cost: Free

Riverwalk Trick or Treat is one of the best free family-friendly Halloween events in downtown Tampa. The Riverwalk fills with treat stations, costumes, a Halloween market, and cute seasonal energy without needing to commit to a full haunted attraction.

If you have kids, this is an easy win. If you do not have kids, it is still a fun excuse to walk the Riverwalk and people-watch all the costumes, which is basically a sport during Halloween season.

12. Pumpkin Fest at Florida Botanical Gardens

Location: Florida Botanical Gardens, 12520 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33774
Hours and Dates: October 24, 2026; time TBD. The 2025 event ran 10 AM-2 PM.
Cost: Free admission

Pumpkin Fest at Florida Botanical Gardens is a sweet Largo event with garden strolls, pumpkin fun, scarecrow displays, kids’ activities, and community partners. It is a nice pick if you want something seasonal but not chaotic.

Plus, the gardens are already pretty; it’s one of the best botanical gardens in Tampa Bay! So adding pumpkins and fall decor just makes it feel extra cute.

13. Savor St. Pete

Location: Vinoy Park, 701 Bayshore Dr NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
Hours and Dates: November 7-8, 2026; VIP 12 PM-4 PM and GA 1 PM-4 PM
Cost: GA starts at $135 plus ticketing fees, and VIP starts at $165 plus ticketing fees.

Savor St. Pete is not exactly pumpkin-patch fall, but it is absolutely a fall event worth planning for. This waterfront food and wine festival brings together restaurants, wineries, breweries, spirits brands, and chef demos for a very fun tasting weekend.

Your ticket includes unlimited tastings, which is dangerous information for people like me who want one of everything. It is 21+, so this is more of a friend-date, couple-date, or “I deserve a fancy snack day” plan.

14. Keel Farms Harvest Days

Location: Keel Farms, 5202 Thonotosassa Rd, Plant City, FL 33565
Hours and Dates: Every weekend in October 2026, 10 AM-3 PM
Cost: Free admission; parking and select activities may cost extra.

Keel Farms Harvest Days is such a good add if your ideal fall festival includes food trucks, vendors, hayrides, a corn maze, pumpkin activities, and a winery-brewery-cidery situation for the adults. We love a family-friendly event that also understands the assignment for grown-ups.

This is a very Florida fall day in the best way: pumpkins, sunshine, seasonal drinks, and probably a little dust on your shoes by the end.

15. St. Pete Pier Pumpkin Patch

Location: St. Pete Pier, Family Park, 600 2nd Ave NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
Hours and Dates: 2026 dates TBD; the pumpkin patch is an annual fall event, and recent dates have landed in mid-October.
Cost: Free admission; pumpkins are available for purchase.

If you want your pumpkin patch with a waterfront view, the St. Pete Pier Pumpkin Patch is such a cute one to keep on your radar. You can wander the patch, take fall photos, grab food nearby, and make it a whole downtown St. Pete afternoon.

The Pier also usually hosts a larger fall festival around the patch, so this is an easy one to pair with live entertainment, a sunset walk, or drinks after. Very “fall, but make it coastal.”

Theme Park Events

16. Scream-A-Geddon

Location: 27839 St Joe Rd, Dade City, FL 33525
Hours and Dates: 2026 fall season dates vary by night; current posted hours include 7 PM-11 PM, 7 PM-midnight, and 7 PM-1 AM depending on the date.
Cost: Prices vary by day and are subject to change. Check current ticket prices here.

Scream-A-Geddon is for the people who hear “haunted horror park” and immediately start making plans. It has multiple terrifying attractions in one location, plus food, drinks, and Bonzo’s Beer Garden so you can emotionally recover between scares.

I am not saying I am too scared for this. I am saying I looked at the website and suddenly remembered I have errands.

17. Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens

Location: Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, 10165 McKinley Dr, Tampa, FL 33612
Hours and Dates: Select nights September 11-November 1, 2026; event starts at 7 PM, with gate access typically beginning at 5 PM on event nights.
Cost: Prices vary by date and ticket type.

Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is one of the biggest fall events in Tampa, and it is such a good pick if you want haunted houses, scare zones, nighttime rides, and a more intense theme park Halloween experience.

This is a separately ticketed nighttime event, so do not assume your regular daytime admission gets you in. Also, check the bag and costume policies before you go so you do not get caught at the gate with a whole situation.

18. Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa

Location: ZooTampa at Lowry Park, 1101 W Sligh Ave, Tampa, FL 33604
Hours and Dates: Select nights September 26-October 31, 2026; 2025 event hours were 4 PM-10 PM, with 2026 times still being finalized.
Cost: Included with select ZooTampa memberships and Pay For A Day admission; otherwise, check current event ticket options.

Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa is the family-friendly Halloween event for people who want festive, not traumatizing. You get animal exhibits, themed characters, Halloween activities, spooky-but-cute experiences, and that after-hours zoo energy that makes everything feel a little more magical.

This is a really good option if you have littles or if haunted houses are simply not your ministry.

Spooky Activities

19. Haunted River Tours with Pirate Water Taxi

Location: Pirate Water Taxi, Tampa Riverwalk area
Hours and Dates: 2026 Haunted River Tour dates TBD; Pirate Water Taxi lists Haunted River Tours as select nights in October.
Cost: Check current special event cruise pricing.

The Haunted River Tours with Pirate Water Taxi are such a fun spooky-season twist on the usual downtown Tampa boat ride. You get haunted stories, river views, and a 45-minute cruise that feels festive without requiring you to sprint away from anyone in a mask.

This is perfect if you like spooky, but you still want to sit down and enjoy the skyline. Honestly, same.

20. UNDead in the Water at American Victory Ship & Museum

Location: American Victory Ship, 705 Channelside Dr, Tampa, FL 33602
Hours and Dates: September 26 and October 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31, 2026
Cost: Ticket prices vary by date and ticket type.

UNDead in the Water is Tampa’s nautical haunted attraction aboard the historic American Victory Ship. You move through multiple decks of a WWII cargo ship while trying to survive the interactive zombie apocalypse storyline, which is deeply dramatic and exactly what Halloween asked for.

If you want a haunted event that feels super specific to Tampa, this one is it. A haunted ship in Channelside? Very on brand.

21. Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail

Location: 2837 S Frontage Rd, Plant City, FL 33566
Hours and Dates: September 25-November 1, 2026; hours vary by date.
Cost: Prices vary by date and attraction options.

Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail is another major Central Florida haunt with multiple haunted trails, escape games, laser tag, entertainment, and concessions. It is creepy, detailed, and very committed to the bit.

Tickets must be purchased online ahead of time for the 2026 season, so do not just show up expecting to casually wander into terror. Plan your fear accordingly.
