St. Pete is one of those cities where brewery hopping just makes sense! Everything feels easy, sunny, and social, and you can bounce from a huge warehouse-style taproom to a cozy neighborhood spot without overthinking the plan.
If you love hazy IPAs, crisp lagers, creative sours, ciders, beer gardens, and laid-back patios, the breweries in St. Pete make it way too easy to turn one drink into a whole afternoon.
What I love most is that each spot has its own personality. Some are great for live music and games, some are perfect for a casual date night, and others are made for posting up outside with your dog and a flight (so many of the St. Pete breweries are dog-friendly!). Brewery hopping is easily one of the best things to do in St. Pete, especially if you’re planning a weekend in St. Pete.
If you’re visiting with a group and want someone else to handle the route, the Trolley Pub can be a really fun add-on. It’s especially perfect for a birthday or bachelorette weekend!

Best Breweries in St. Pete, FL
1. 3 Daughters
3 Daughters is one of the first St. Pete breweries I started going to after moving to Florida, and it’s still one of the easiest recommendations for almost any kind of group. The space is massive, the tap list is huge, and there is always something going on, from live music to games to events.
The beer menu has a little bit of everything, which is why this is such a good “bring everyone” spot. Remi is a fan of the Beach Blonde Ale, and I always appreciate their fun cider and seltzer options.
We almost always do a flight here because committing to one pour when there are that many options feels impossible. If the blueberry peppercorn cider is on tap, that’s the one I’m ordering immediately!
It’s also a solid pick if your group includes kids, non-beer drinkers, or people who need more than just a barstool to be happy because there are tons of games and activities.
And if you’re spending time across the bridge, 3 Daughters also has a tasting room on Clearwater Beach.

2. Cage Brewing
Cage Brewing is a microbrewery with 18 craft beers on tap. It’s in the Grand Central area, the space is relaxed, and it has that slightly quirky St. Pete feel that makes it more memorable than a standard taproom.
The tap list covers a nice range of styles, but the best part is how much there is to do while you sip. There’s a large covered beer garden, live music, cornhole, foosball, and inside you’ll find pinball machines, old-school video games, and a pool table.
Check their calendar before you go because they often have trivia, bands, and events.

3. Green Bench Brewing
Green Bench Brewing is a St. Pete classic for a reason. It’s right in the EDGE District, has a big open beer garden, and somehow works for almost every kind of plan. Pre-dinner drinks, casual first date, afternoon with friends, post-market beer, downtown crawl, all of it.
The tap list usually has a great mix of styles. You can grab an easy-drinking lager, try something more hop-forward, or wander next door to Webb’s City Cellar if you’re in the mood for barrel-aged beers, wild ales, or something a little more interesting.
And, if Offset Sandwich Exchange is there when you go, you absolutely need to get the chicken Caesar wrap. It’s one of my favorites, and it is exactly the kind of snack-meets-meal situation I want when I’m having a beer outside in St. Pete.

4. Golden Isles Brewing Co
Golden Isles Brewing feels like the local hangout. It’s relaxed, welcoming, and easy to settle into. Their own beer selection may be smaller than some of the larger breweries, but they make up for it with a rotating tap list from breweries around Florida and beyond.
I also loved that they had plenty of NA options. I had a locally brewed kombucha from Beech Kombucha, which is such a nice option when not everyone in the group is drinking beer.
There’s indoor and outdoor seating, live music, food trucks, sports on the screens, and an overall “come as you are” energy. It’s a great one for pups, kiddos, and anyone who wants a mellow spot that still has enough going on to feel fun.

5. Bayboro Brewing Co
Bayboro Brewing is one of the best St. Pete breweries if you want good beer and actual food. The space is big and lively, with indoor and outdoor seating, a full food menu, signature cocktails, and non-alcoholic options like Beech Kombucha.
This is a great place to go when you want the brewery experience but also need lunch or dinner to be part of the plan. They keep a busy events calendar, so depending on when you stop by, you might catch live music, trivia, or another fun reason to linger.

6. Right Around the Corner
Right Around the Corner Brewery is part brewery, part arcade bar, and fully my kind of chaos. It’s a perfect stop if you want your beer to come with a side of friendly competition.
You’ll find classic arcade games, Skee-Ball, pool, darts, and old-school game systems like PlayStation, N64, and Sega. Remi loves this place, though I still think half the appeal for him is watching me lose at Street Fighter.
They have 20 local craft beers on their rotating tap, including around 9 of their own. Expect a mix of IPAs, coffee blonde ales, wheat beers, stouts, and other options that make it easy to try something new. They also offer wine, which is always nice for the person in the group who came for the games more than the beer.
They usually allow kids earlier in the day and evening, but check their Facebook page for current hours, events, and specials before you go.

7. Outcast Brewing
Outcast Brewing is one of the bigger, more energetic St. Pete breweries on this list, and it’s a good one when your group can’t agree on the vibe. Beer? Yes. Cocktails? Also yes. Wine? Covered. Outdoor patio? Absolutely.
The outdoor patio is where things feel the most fun, with live music, yard games, and rotating food trucks. Inside, the main taproom is great for sampling their beers, but you can also head to The Lounge for a craft cocktail or mocktail if you want something different.
If you’re in more of a wine mood, the Vintage Room has wine and champagne in a slightly more polished setting. I love that Outcast gives you options.
There’s also The Stadium, which is decked out with TVs, a projector, and games like “Golden Tee.” Basically, this is the place to go when you want a brewery that can carry the whole evening.

8. Grand Central Brewhouse
Grand Central Brewhouse is a great addition to a Central Ave brewery hop because it feels a little more elevated while still being totally easygoing. It’s a two-story brewery, taproom, and beer garden in the Grand Central District, so there’s plenty of room to spread out.
This is an especially good stop if you appreciate lagers and European-style pours. They also make ales, so you’re not boxed into one style, but the clean, crisp beers are what make this one stand out to me.
The space is dog-friendly, great for groups, and has food from LALA St. Pete available right there. I also love that it’s close to murals, coffee shops, restaurants, and a few of the other best bars in downtown St. Pete, so it’s easy to turn this stop into a full afternoon or night out.

9. Mastry’s Brewing Co.
Mastry’s Brewing Co. is the beachy wildcard on this list since it’s over in St. Pete Beach, but it absolutely deserves a spot. If your day includes sand, sunset, or a little beach bar hopping, Mastry’s is an easy one to work into the plan.
The beer lineup has plenty to choose from, including their MADE Porter with chocolate and coffee notes and their award-winning Hefeweizen. They also have spirits, wines, craft drinks, and a scratch kitchen, so it works well even if your group is split between beer lovers and “I just want something refreshing” people.
